Georgia Governor Brian Kemp Thursday afternoon announced that educators will be added to the list of those eligible to receive a vaccine effective March 8.
“We will be working with Tanner over the next couple days to finalize the plan for when our employees can get access,” Carroll County Board of Education Chairman Sandra Morris told WLBB Radio. “We will communicate to parents our plan as soon as we finalize details.”
Haralson County Schools Supt. Jerry Bell said: “The HC School District has been recognized as a provider for the COVID vaccination for our staff members. We are set up and ready to receive the vaccinations as soon as they are delivered. Once we receive them a schedule will be created so that our staff can come to a designated location and receive the vaccine. Our school nurses have been trained and are ready to begin.”
