(Carrollton, Ga.) – Downtown Carrollton’s biggest annual event, Mayfest Arts and Crafts Festival, returns to Adamson Square, May 3.
For four decades, Mayfest has drawn thousands of people to Carrollton’s vibrant downtown the first Saturday in May to browse handmade arts and crafts like woodworking, jewelry, crochet and woven items, enjoy food trucks and local dining and explore unique specialty shops.
“We hope everyone will join us as we celebrate 40 years of arts, crafts, entertainment and food at Mayfest,” said Alyson Moffit, the city’s downtown coordinator. “We’ll have lots of new vendors, new faces and returning favorites.”
The Amp at Adamson Square will host free family friendly activities and entertainment throughout the day, including face painting and the annual Teen Idol competition.

Event organizers are no longer accepting applications for 2025 Mayfest. Applications for Mayfest 2026 will be accepted beginning in January of next year.
