There will be some families out there this Christmas that struggle to get even a single present under the Christmas tree for their kids. The local Toys for Tots has begun their efforts to help ease the concern of that happening for parents.
Registration to receive Toys for Tots is now open. The organization currently does not have a financial requirement and Toys for Tots Coordinator, Lori Graham said that they would just like to serve those kids in need.
“Well last year we did close to 3,400 children and that was from around 1,500 families,” said Graham.
Graham said that this year the organization will provide gifts for children up to seventeen years in age. To register your child to receive gifts from Toys for Tots visit west-ga.toysfortots.org and fill out the request form or fill out a physical form at any Carroll County School by November 30th. Toy pick up will be in mid-December.
