On Friday, February 28, 2025, the Northwest Georgia Drug Task Force assisted by members of the newly formed HCJCSTF – Haralson County Joint Crime Suppression Task Force (Haralson County SO CSU, Bremen and Tallapoosa PD) served a search warrant at 33 Tolbert Road, Rockmart, (Haralson County) Ga. The search warrant was the culmination of an investigation that has been ongoing for the last several months by the Northwest Georgia Drug Task Force. Evidence obtained by the NWGDTF during the investigation led investigators to believe that cartel connections were utilized by the homeowner to buy drugs to sell in Haralson County.

During the search warrant service, 4 and ½ pounds of methamphetamine, numerous nonprescribed schedule four prescription pills, scales, baggies, smoking devices and other drug trafficking paraphernalia along with a firearm were located.

Nicky Scott Proctor, a 61-year-old W/M out of Rockmart, GA is now facing VGCSA – Trafficking Methamphetamine, Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony and Possession of a Firearm by Convicted Felon, and VGCSA – Possession of a Schedule 4 drug charges.  

Tabatha Michelle Miller, a 45-year-old W/F out of Rockmart, GA is now facing VGCSA – Trafficking Methamphetamine and VGCSA – Possession of Methamphetamine charges.

Tracey Lanette Brookshire, a 53-year-old W/F out of Rockmart, GA is now facing VGCSA – Possession of Methamphetamine, she was also booked in on an outstanding Bench warrant.

“I am very appreciative of the great work done by our Northwest Georgia Drug Task Force in taking down this major drug trafficker and removing him and his poison from our communities,” states Sheriff Stacy Williams.  “We stand firm in our commitment to hunt down, arrest and prosecute anyone that brings drugs into Haralson County. Do not get comfortable, we will not stop.”
