Per the NWS in Peachtree City and Carroll County EMA: Counties north of our area (Paulding and Polk northward to the Tennessee line) are under a Winter Weather Advisory for tomorrow morning. Current forecasts indicate anywhere from 0-1 inch of snow in the northern Carroll County area and eastern Haralson County with higher amounts as you travel further north and east of our area.
The snow is expected to begin in our area as rain and either remain all rain or transition to all snow and then back to rain as the morning progresses. The current forecast time frame is between 0700 0900 Saturday morning. If the transition moves to all snow, accumulations on elevated surfaces may cause some travel issues, especially as you travel north of our area.
