UPDATE: as of Monday evening, GSP has not been able to identify the victim. It is expected that GBI will sketch the victim and share with the public to ask for assistance.
The Georgia State Patrol is investigating a hit and run early Friday south of #TempleGA that resulted in the death of an unidentified woman.
On May 20, at approximately 2:40 a.m., a Trooper investigated a hit and run crash on GA 113 in #CarrollCountyGA .
An unknown vehicle was traveling north on GA 113 and struck a pedestrian who was walking on or along GA 113 in the northbound lane. The victim succumbed to her injuries on scene.
The victim had no identification and has not been identified at this time.
Department of Public Safety, Public Information Officer Franka Young said additional information may be available on Monday.
