Investigators say 2-year old in stable condition after being struck by vehicle

Saturday morning, Georgia State Patrol investigators told WLBB Radio that a 2-year old Waco female struck by a moving vehicle Friday evening was taken to an area hospital and is in stable condition.

According to Franka Young of the DPS Public Information Office:

On Aug. 19, at approximately 7:05 p.m. a crash occurred at (a residence on) Woodland Circle Waco, GA.

(A 28-year old driver) was backing south from the driveway of the residence and struck (his two-year old daughter) who was at the rear of the vehicle.

The pedestrian was transported to Floyd Medical Center. Per medical staff, the pedestrian is in stable condition.

These are the preliminary findings of a crash investigation handled by GSP Post 29 Paulding. This crash is still under investigation.
