I-20 Ramps and Lanes In Carroll County Closed Friday and Saturday Night

WHAT: Weather permitting, crews will be continuing to work on the I-20 resurfacing project this weekend. On Friday and Saturday night, the eastbound right lane will be closed from milepost 17 to milepost 24. Additionally, the exit 19 eastbound on-ramp will be closed, as well as the exit 24 eastbound exit ramp.

WHEN: Friday, April 3 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. and Saturday, April 4 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

WHERE: The I-20 eastbound right lane will be closed from milepost 17 to milepost 24. The eastbound exit 19 on-ramp will be closed, and the exit 24 eastbound exit ramp will be closed. Motorists will be detoured to exit 26 then directed back on to I-20 westbound to access the exits in the construction area.

Advisory:  Motorists are advised to expect delays, exercise caution, and reduce their speed while traveling through work zones. Before heading out, get real-time information on work status and traffic conditions. Call 511, visit 511ga.org, or download the Georgia 511 app. Our maintenance team members who repair roads and bridges and our project teams who oversee construction projects are continuing their essential work, while following sanitary work practices prescribed by health agencies to protect themselves and the public from the coronavirus, as are most state DOTs in the U.S.
