House Fire in Bremen

A family of four in Bremen was forced from their home early this morning after their single story residence caught fire.

Bremen Fire Chief, Jay Hurley, said units from Bremen and Carroll County responded to the home located at the corner of Laurel and Tennessee Avenue.

“It was occupied at the time of the fire,” said Hurley. ” Everyone was able to get out of the residence. They guys pulled up and they did a quick search of the residence and they started to form a fire attack and they contained it mainly to the exterior of the home and the front living quarters.”

Hurley said the cause of the fire appears to be accidental and all four family members were able to stay with friends and family. Hurley does not believe the home is a total loss.
