According to the HCSO, a deputy initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle in eastern Haralson County – because of speeding and failure to maintain lane. The driver refused to stop and a high speed pursuit began which went on multiple roads (Morgan, Waddell and Kirkland).
The driver allegedly drove through multiple stop signs including a four way stop with speeds up to 85 MPH. A PIT maneuver was conducted and the offender’s vehicle went into a ditch and rolled over. The suspect was not wearing a seatbelt and was injured.
He has been taken to the hospital.
