McLain asked Walter if he could speak and he said yes. He asked Walter what happened and he stated Kevin Carroll shot him. He then asked asked Walter if it was an accident and he stated no.
West Ga EMS and Carroll County Fire arrived on scene and began accessing the patient.
McLain then spoke briefly with Witness/Victim Corry Lea (who shares an address with the alleged shooter, Mclain) who stated he advised Walter he needed to leave or he was going to have him evicted. Corry stated Walter got mad and began throwing things around inside the house.
Corry stated he advised Walter he needed to settle down or he was calling the law enforcement. Corry stated that Walter said, call them and got in his face and began choking him. Corry stated that’s when Kevin shot Walter in the head.
