Carroll County Sheriff’s Office deputies are investigating a pair of shootings within the last 24 hours– one of the incidents resulting in injury to a female.

At approximately 10:00 pm Monday, multiple bullets entered a residence on Thornberry Court and struck a female. She was transported to a nearby hospital with what was believed to be at the time non-life threatening injuries.

The second shooting occurred at approximately 2:00 am Tuesday morning on Emily Lane where multiple bullets entered the residence. However, no injuries were reported.
