Carroll County deputies are looking for a Carrollton man who may have information regarding a shooting incident which left his 26-year old daughter injured early Thursday morning.
A deputy confirmed that after midnight, a 911 call was made regarding a female with a gunshot wound to the chest at a residence on Meadow Cliff Circle. The caller, possibly the woman’s father, said the shooting was “accidental.”
A deputy on the scene said when he arrived there was a “substantial amount of blood,” and a fairly large crime scene with tire tracks that run through.
Investigators believe the woman’s father was at the home at some time and left the scene driving a white Cadillac.
Deputies say the woman is being treated for her injuries and is expected to survive.
Investigators hope to interview 50-year-old Bernard Washington Boykin about this incident. Boykin is asked to contact Inv. Nick Miller at the CCSO.
