Twelve Carrollton High School seniors committed to military service as their post-secondary option following high school, during an official signing ceremony at the Carrollton City Schools Board of Education office on Wednesday.
CHS Principal David Brooks said, “While technical school and college are appropriate preparation grounds for many students before they enter the workforce, the military is another way young adults can transition to good careers – not to mention have the opportunity to serve their country.”
Four of the twelve graduating seniors have earned scholarship opportunities through ROTC programs with the U.S. Army, Navy and Air Force.
