CHS senior Audrey Browning, who holds four debate state titles, won an individual state title in the GHSA Literary competition by claiming first place in the Argumentative Essay event. Upon arrival to the competition, students receive the essay topic and have one hour to produce a detailed argumentative composition. Coach Richard Bracknell shared that Audrey’s strengths were on display, using her debate talents and literary expertise to craft a well-balanced, persuasive argument to bring home the state championship win. Audrey, pictured right, celebrated the win with her sister and teammate Blythe Browning on March 15.
