Trojan freshman golfer Mackinnley Yarbrough captured the 2024 Georgia PGA Jr. Championship held June 5-7 at Doublegate Country Club in Albany, Georgia.
Yarbrough set the pace with a 7-under par 65 in the first round, the lowest in the tournament, and finished 4-under par, tying for the lead. He clinched the championship when he birdied the first playoff hole for the win.
Yarbrough will now compete at the 48th Boys & Girls Jr. PGA Championship at Congressional Country Club in Bethesda, Maryland, July 30-August 2.Â
