Georgia State Patrol continues to investigate a two-vehicle crash in Haralson County that took place on Saturday morning that resulted in the death  of a 25-year old west Georgia woman and her 2-year old daughter.
Witnesses say the crash was a head-on collision and occurred after 6:00 AM on Highway 78 in Waco, Georgia.
GSP is expected to release an initial accident report later today, however Haralson County Deputy Coroner Josh Worthy, on Sunday, confirmed that Kimberly Grissom and her daughter Nyla, both of Cedartown, had succumbed to injuries received in the crash. He said, both were pronounced dead on the scene.
He added, “This is a very tragic situation and our prayers go out to the family.”
According to GrissomÂ’s Facebook page, she attended high school in Haralson County, lived in Bremen and has worked with OFS and Honda Lock.
