- CARROLLTON CITY SCHOOLS – Due to incoming inclement weather, Carrollton City Schools will have an at-home learning day for all students on Friday, Jan. 10. Teachers will provide instructions today regarding at-home assignments and learning activities to ensure continuity of education during the closure. All staff members will work from home to support the at-home learning plans. Families are encouraged to stay informed through official school channels for updates or additional information. Regular classes will resume on Monday, Jan. 13.
- CARROLL COUNTY SCHOOLS is moving to a Distance Learning Day on Friday, January 10 due to winter weather. This Distance Learning Day includes all students, faculty and staff. Additionally, all Friday after-school and extracurricular activities are cancelled. Schools and teachers will be sending out specific information and assignments to students. Please refer to our Distance Learning Day webpage for more information. School meals for Friday, January 10 will be available for students to take home on Thursday, January 9. Each school will communicate its individual plan for meal pickup with students. Thursday, January 9 will be a normal school day with normal after-school and extracurricular activities. No decision has been made regarding Saturday extracurricular events. Each school will communicate about these as needed. Road conditions are expected to be treacherous on Friday. Please avoid travel and stay warm!
