A two-vehicle crash in Haralson County Thursday morning claims the lives of both vehiclesÂ’ drivers.
According to Tracey N. Watson of the Georgia Department of Public Safety Public Information Office:
This crash occurred at approximately 6:30 a.m. Vehicle #1 was traveling south on Cashtown Road, north of Shedd Road. Vehicle #2 was traveling north on Cashtown Road, north of Shedd Road. The driver of vehicle #1 failed to maintain lane and crossed into the northbound lane. The front of vehicle #1 struck the front of vehicle #2. While together, both vehicles rotated counter clockwise 180 degrees before separating. Vehicle #1 continued to rotate before coming to a rest in the southbound lane facing south. Vehicle #2 continued rotating before overturning to its right. Vehicle #2 came to a rest in the northbound lane facing south. Both drivers were confirmed deceased on scene. There were no other occupants in either vehicle.
The drivers were identified as:
Francis Denise Biggs, 25, of Temple
Timothy Jason Lowery, 41, of Bremen
Watson says the investigation into the crash continues.
