Three juveniles who attend Villa Rica High School were involved in a two-vehicle crash Wednesday afternoon.
Here is the pre-liminary report provided by Georgia State Patrol:
On August 13, 2025, at 4:48 pm, a Trooper responded to a two-vehicle crash on State Route 101 at the intersection of Lake Paradise Road in Carroll County.
A Ford 250 was traveling southbound, and a Toyota Corolla was traveling northbound on State Route 101 approaching the intersection of Lake Paradise Road.
The driver of the Toyota failed to yield to the Ford while turning left onto Lake Paradise Road, causing the Ford to collide with the Toyota’s passenger side doors.
After impact, both vehicles came to an uncontrolled final rest on the left side of the roadway.
All three passengers of the Toyota were transported to the hospital with serious injuries. At approximately 17:55 hours, the front passenger of the Toyota succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.
SCRTD was informed of the crash and will be assisting with the investigation. Pending charges are unknown at this time.
