Current District 6 Commissioner George Chambers endorses candidacy of Mt.Zion Native and local business owner, Debbie Miles Neal for District 6 Commissioner.
“I am proud to announce my endorsement of my friend and true asset to the Carroll County Community, Debbie Miles Neal,”Commissioner George Chambers said in a statement to WLBB Thursday. “Debbie reached out to me last week when I announced I was not seeking another term, and said she was content running for the position. I was very encouraged by her interest and I am thrilled to throw my support behind her efforts. Debbie is not only a life long resident of Carroll County, born and raised in Mt. Zion but she is a local business owner and has been an entrepreneur most of her life following her fathers footsteps, the great Harold Miles.”
“Debbie is one who is actively involved in her community, always looking to give back, as I remember back in 2015/2016 she provided Narcan to every first responder in Carroll County that she paid for herself, because she was passionate about her efforts to help others, especially those who live with addiction,” Chambers continued. “Debbie is selfless, fearless, and has a pure heart of love for her community, proven by the many boards she serves on, specifically The Board of Mental Health.”
