A Temple City employee remains in the Carroll County jail, charged with rape and exploitation of a disabled adult following allegations that he forced sexual contact with a female family member.
43-year old Jason Keith Thompson has been employed with the cityÂ’s water department as a meter reader and water technician.
“He was accused of a rape charge and after further investigation we found out that the victim suffers from a mild form of retardation,” said Temple police investigator, James Wheeler. “Through the investigation, we had enough to take the warrants and he is currently being held at the Carroll County jail.”
Wheeler said the rape allegation was made by the alleged victim; and additional information was obtained by other sources.
