A Carroll County grand jury this month has indicted an 18-year old Douglasville man on several charges – including malice and felony murder – for his alleged role in the shooting death of 44-year old Santravis Lee – during an altercation at the Exxon Station on Bar J Road in Temple last November.
Investigators claim that late evening November third – Eric Bernard Malone “burst from his vehicle in a rage” and “started firing 18 rounds from his AR 15 platform semi-automatic rifle at close range” into a Chevy SUV with 6 people inside – as the victims were driving away.
Lee was struck in the lower back, left shoulder and left hand multiple times according to the warrant.
Warrants suggest the incident involved an attempt to sell marijuana.
