(Carrollton, Georgia). Carroll County Schools JROTC cadets received a huge donation from the Southwire Veterans Network. Southwire delivered 56 pairs of new and gently used athletic shoes for the Air Force JROTC program. The shoes were donated by Southwire employees along with a $1,000 for the purchase of new shoes. These donations alleviate a financial obligation for families to provide athletic footwear in order to complete the physical training requirement of the JROTC program and the Raider Team.
Lt Col David Cumings and MSgt Steven Peters are the JROTC instructors for Carroll County Schools. The program is based out of Central High School, serving students throughout the district.
