Carroll EMC has reported approximately 500 properties were without power at some point during Wednesday and Thursday, created by the effects of Hurricane Michael.
Carroll EMC had tripled its work force by bringing in visiting crews prior to Wednesdays weather.
Theyll decide today how many Carroll EMC crews will be sent to help other co-ops in Georgia that were it harder.
This morning, Carroll Countys EMA director, Tim Padgett said damage caused by the storm was minimal, but drivers were cautioned of downed limbs and debris on the roads. There were also ponding on some of the roadways.
Rainfall was estimated to be between two to five inches. Maximum winds overnight were reported to be between 25 and 30 miles per hour.
