PRESS RELEASE (Haralson County Sheriff’s Office – Monday 8/19/19 6:47pm)
According to HCSO, on 8/19 app 4:30pm, multiple deputies were running code (lights-siren) to an emergency call. Upon crossing the intersection of US Hwy 27 and GA Hwy 120, a HCSO vehicle and another vehicle collided.
A male in the other vehicle was pronounced deceased at the scene. His name will be released later by Georgia State Patrol.
Two Haralson County Officers were transported to Tanner Carrollton with non life threatening injuries.
Georgia State Patrol is leading the investigation of this incident.
