#BremenGA Police are an investigating an alleged homicide they believe occurred before 3:00am Wednesday morning near Allen Memorial Drive.
Chief Keith Pesnell says a man has admitted to shooting his wife. She has since passed away.
Investigators say the couple had met near Allen Memorial Drive. They believe the shooting followed a short argument between the two.
Pesnell says the suspect showed up at the Carroll County SheriffÂ’s Office where he attempted to turn himself in.
He is now in the custody of Bremen Police.
The names of the individuals involved and additional details are being withheld at this time pending notification of family.
