A former local police officer and – youth pastor – charged with multiple counts of child molestation in 2025 – has pleaded guilty.
47-year old Danny Keith Streetman will serve 20 years in prison – followed by a decade under the supervision of the Georgia Department Of Community Supervision.
Streetman had multiple victims. Some of his crimes date back ten years.
The case was prosecuted by Tallapoosa Judicial Circuit Assistant District Attorney Jason Jones. THE investigation was led by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation in coordination with investigators from the district attorney’s office.
District Attorney Jaeson Smith expressed his gratitude to those who came forward, stating:
“I want to thank the individuals affected by this predator who had the courage to step forward and stand up to him. Their bravery was nothing short of inspirational. I also want to recognize the dedicated staff of the Haralson County District Attorney’s Office for their commitment to helping these victims share their stories and seek justice.”
