Former Haralson County Commission Chairman Allen Poole has offered his name to Georgia Governor Brian Kemp, for consideration to replace U-S Senator Johnny Isakson, when the long-time legislator steps down at the end of the year.
Poole served 14 years as the chairman of the Haralson County Commission before he was selected by Kemp earlier this year to lead the GovernorÂ’s Office Of Highway Safety. He worked with the Georgia State Patrol Office prior to becoming Haralson CountyÂ’s chairman.
PooleÂ’s application is one of more than 500 being considered in filling IsaksonÂ’s U-S Senate seat.
