the following is a letter written by Carroll County Chamber of Commerce/ Carroll Tomorrow President Brian Dill to chamber members announcing his departure…
“I write to inform you that I am resigning my position of President and CEO for Carroll Tomorrow and the Carroll County Chamber effective August 31st. I have made the decision to continue my passion of economic and community development in the private sector, a move that will allow me to consolidate my work engagements while remaining local. While I am excited about the opportunities that lie ahead for me and my family, I feel a deep sense of gratitude for being able to serve you in this capacity over the last two and a half years.
Both the Chamber and Carroll Tomorrow are in strong financial positions. Community engagement is at an all-time high, and our programming and community outreach is excelling on all fronts. We have a strong team in place for both organizations and the future looks brighter than ever.
To that end, the executive committees of both boards have unanimously approved the promotion of Rhyne Owenby to President of the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce. Rhyne’s relationship driven approach to chamber operations has been the driving force behind record membership levels and strong, value-added programming. This appointment is effective September 1st. Please join me in congratulating and supporting Rhyne in her new role!”
