Circles Of West Georgia Search for Younger Volunteers

Circles of West Georgia is looking for residents in Carroll County to volunteer with the non-profit organization. Circles is hosting an event called The Band, Beer, Bar-B-Que, at Printers Ale Manufacturing Company in the hopes of attracting millennial volunteers.

“This event, we felt would help draw out twenty, thirty and early forty-year-old people in the community that might not have been as involved with volunteering as some of the older community members,” said Circles of West Georgia Director, Mary Mance Hart.

She stressed the need for volunteer leaders and allies for the philanthropyÂ’s classes; even guest speakers are sought after.

Volunteers with Circles of West Georgia help provide a path for families to escape poverty by long term education and social support.

The BBB event at Printers Ale kicks off Thursday, June 21st at 5:00 pm
