The leaders of the Carrollton High School Air Force Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (AFJROTC), Lt. Col. Mike Farr and MSgt. Ryan McLain, were named 2025 Air Force/Space Force Outstanding Instructor Award recipients. This recognition from the Air Force commends the instructors for their impactful contributions to the school’s program. The objectives of JROTC are to educate and train high school cadets in citizenship, promote community service, instill responsibility, character, and self-discipline, and provide instruction in air and space fundamentals.
