Temple High School was named Most Positive School in West Georgia.

“The regional recognition by Positive Athlete Georgia is a powerful indication that our schools are not only competing at the highest levels, but doing it with a high level of sportsmanship and positivity that is recognized across West Georgia,” Superintendent Scott Cowart said.

Across the region, Carroll County Schools has more students recognized than any other system.

“Personally, I am so glad that a student athlete from each of our Carroll County high schools was recognized,” Cowart said. “It tells me that our vision to positively change lives has taken hold and is making a difference across our system.”

The Positive Athlete organization celebrates young athletes who have overcome difficult circumstances, given back to their schools and communities in a significant way, or just have an infectious positive attitude that makes everyone around them a better person.
