CARROLLTON, GA — Carrollton Upper Elementary School is proud to be honored as a 2024-2025 National Beta School of Distinction. The school earned this recognition by increasing club membership by at least 10% from last year, demonstrating the commitment of student leaders to continually engage their classmates and promote involvement.
National Beta School of Distinction is an honor for Beta clubs striving towards academic achievement, exemplary character, demonstrated leadership, and service to others. With an ongoing quest to instill these qualities in more students, the National Beta School of Distinction Award is designed to reward those schools that show an increase in membership during the current school year. Out of the 14,000 national and international clubs, only 2,946 Beta Clubs across the country received this award this year.
Honorees received a National Beta School of Distinction banner to proudly display as a symbol of their accomplishment.
“The teachers and student leaders in the Beta Club at Carrollton Upper Elementary have gone above and beyond to establish a strong organization on our campus,” said CUES Principal Tabitha Walker. “Growing the club’s membership is a result of their hard work and dedication to helping students reach their full potential.”
