Carrollton High School sophomore Alaina Dhople was recently selected for the 2026 Youth LEAD Georgia cohort. Through a nomination process, up to 40 sophomores and juniors statewide are chosen for this prestigious leadership development program supported by the University of Georgia, Chick-fil-A, Regions Bank, and The Same House. Participants engage in experiential learning activities, retreat workshops, and trainings focused on citizenship curriculum and the importance of community involvement. At the end of the summer, students are invited to a leadership summit in Athens to network with youth leaders throughout the state.
