Carrollton High SchoolÂ’s heralded Remotely Operated Vehicle team is once again is heading to an international competition to be held in Federal Way, Washington, next week.
CHSÂ’s ROV success dates back to 2008, when a team entered its first international ROV competition. That team placed 16th in the world. Most years since, the team has finished in the top 10 internationally and has qualified for the international competition 10 out of the past 11 years.
Carrollton based Decostar has donated $500 to the team to help offset expenses associated with next weekÂ’s trip.
