CARROLLTON, GA — Carrollton City Schools started school Monday, Aug. 15. The district welcomed nearly 600 new families across all grades. Superintendent Dr. Mark Albertus said he is looking forward to a great school year. “It was great welcoming students back to campus this morning,” said Albertus. “Our leadership and support staff have worked hard this summer to prepare for a wonderful year ahead.” Pictured is CCS School Resource Officer Eddie Christmas greeting students and parents at Carrollton Upper Elementary School Aug. 15.
