“I am honored to serve in this capacity, as UWG holds a special place in my heart, and I am committed to continuing our efforts to support UWG’s mission,” Bretch said. “I look forward to working with our dedicated team to enhance the university’s reputation and impact.”

In her new role, Bretch will focus on building upon UWG’s strong foundation of philanthropy, working closely with donors to identify opportunities for investment in the university’s future. “As an esteemed alumna who has dedicated over a decade of service to UWG, Allyson has played a vital role in advancing our institution’s outcomes related to fundraising and alumni engagement,” said Dr. Brendan Kelly, UWG’s president. “As she steps into this role, her deep-rooted connection to our university community and her commitment to curating a first-choice university will serve our institution well. I have every confidence in Allyson’s ability to continue the momentum of our advancement efforts, and I am grateful for her continued service to our alma mater.”
