On Monday, June 30th, 2025, Deputy Jamie Johnson was dispatched to the Bremen Food Bank on Helton Road in reference to an aggravated assault. Deputy Johnson arrived on scene and was advised by the victim that Joshua Boston had approached him and was cursing and yelling at him. The victim stated that he ignored Boston and kept working but Boston kept coming toward him, yelling and cursing. The victim stated that Boston finally shoved him, and he backed away from Boston but then Boston pulled a knife and threatened to kill him. A 911 call was placed, and Boston left the food bank. Deputy Johnson took a warrant out for Aggravated Assault against Boston.
On Tuesday, July 1, 2025, deputies with the Crime Suppression Unit were able to take Joshua Caleb Boston, a 35-year-old B/M out of Bremen, GA, into custody to face his charge of Aggravated Assault.
