The results of an autopsy on the remains of Jessica Earl, which were discovered near Mount Zion Road in October, have been returned to the Haralson County Sheriffs Office.
Haralson County Investigators requested the GBI Crime Lab perform the autopsy. However, the end result did not explain the cause or manner of the death of the 31-year old woman who had been missing since the summer of 2018.
Investigators over the weekend said they continue to follow leads locally as they search for answers. They have recently been issued a number of additional search warrants as part of that investigation.
No charges have been filed relating to her disappearance or her death.
