There is new information regarding a possible motive in the shooting death of 46-year old Tyrone Boykin this past Friday.
According to arrest warrants – “a group of men went to confront a male about a stolen gun and during the argument Boykin was shot and killed.”Two standout high school football players are among three teenagers charged with murder.
18-year old Kimauri Farmer of Carrollton and 17-year old Joshawia Davis of Bowdon were charged with murder.
Also, a 15-year-old Bowdon male – whose name will not be released – was arrested. WLBB Radio has confirmed that the 15-year old suspect was on the 2025 roster for the Bowdon High School football team, along with Davis.
On Monday, family and friends of Boykin held a balloon and candle lighting ceremony to in memory of the deceased.
