WEST GEORGIA TECHNICAL COLLEGE will be closed Friday, October 30 due to widespread power outages in our service area – including two of our campuses. Crews are working to restore power, and we expect to reopen for normal operations on Monday, November 2. Please monitor email, social media and the College website for updates on Sunday to confirm Monday’s operating schedule.
CARROLL COUNTY SCHOOLS : Friday, October 30, will be a Distance Learning Day for all Carroll County students. Administrators and 12-month employees are expected to report by 9AM. Digital assignments will be available in Google Classroom by 9AM for students who have Internet access. Teachers will work with students who do not have Internet access on make-up assignments when they return to school.

HARALSON COUNTY SCHOOLS will be closed on Friday, October 30th, Due to continuing power outages all HCSD schools. All students and staff will return on Tuesday, November 3rd.
