#TallapoosaGA Police are asking the publics help in identifying suspects in a Monday evening shooting
Investigator Mark Worthy says 911 was called around 7:44pm from a residence on South Michigan Avenue.
A group of young men here were selling a PlayStation 4 and a group of 4 young men from the #CarrolltonGA area had come this way after showing interest over SnapChat in purchasing it, Worthy told WLBB Radio. After they met up, the meeting looks to have turned into a robbery, with the alleged robbers leaving in a grey car.
Investigators at this time believe one of the males in the grey car fired a single shot back at the robbery victims. A bullet struck a 19-year old male in the arm. The bullet passed through his arm and entered his chest.
The victim was life-flighted to an Atlanta area hospital.
GBI and Carrollton Police are assisting Tallapoosa investigators.
